Payport is a Zimbabwean technology and financial solutions company. We started with payments, and grew into a small family of products used by individuals, schools and businesses across the country.
Our story
Started with a simple problem.
Getting money moved — airtime, bills, transfers — in Zimbabwe involved too much friction: queues, unreliable channels, and systems that weren't built for how people here actually transact. Payport started as a payments gateway to fix that.
As we worked with schools and businesses who needed that same "it should just work" approach to operations, accounting and document handling, Payport grew from one product into four — each solving a specific, real problem, all built by the same team.
